  • Departure for the Anoskeli Winery in the area of Voukoles.
  1. Visit to the Anoskeli Winery (Voukoles) (2hrs ) 
  • The Anoskeli Winery is located in the Voukoles area and is well known for producing high-quality Cretan wines. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the wine production process, tour the vineyards, and learn about the local grape varieties. They will also taste some of the winery’s wines, accompanied by local delicacies and traditional dishes.
  1. Visit to the Olive Tree Museum of Vouves ( 30 minutes ) 
  • At the Olive Tree Museum of Vouves, visitors will see the oldest olive tree in the world, which dates back 3000 to 5000 years. The museum is dedicated to the history of the olive tree and the production of olive oil in Crete. Visitors will learn about the traditional methods of olive cultivation and harvesting, as well as the significance of the olive tree in the local economy and culture.
  1. Visit to the Monastery of Panagia Odigitria (Gonia Monastery, Kolymbari) (1hrs & 30min ) 
  • The Monastery of Panagia Odigitria, or Gonia Monastery, was founded in the 9th century AD in the area of Menies on the Akrotiri Peninsula, at the site of the sanctuary of Diktinna. Due to pirate attacks, the monastery was moved southward in the 13th century, and a small monastery was built where the cemetery of the monastery is today. The current monastery was established in 1618 and is an important religious and cultural monument. Visitors can admire the frescoes and architecture of the monastery and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the area.
